road trip!

All is well in no-man's land.

Soup has gained a ton of weight and is growing like a weed. He continues to lust after panties, iPod cords, and empty yogurt containers yoinked from the trash. We're starting him on raw next week, which I'm excited about. No more disgusting ki**le for the little pup! He nearly peed with joy when I handed him the bloody organs from the chicken I roasted last night. House/crate training are going pretty well, although he did pee on my bare foot in an excited dash to the back door.

Steve's bottom retainer broke off in his mouth, so we're driving down to Ohio tomorrow so he can get it fixed since he's not covered up here in Canadia. It also gives us a good excuse to take a road trip and burn off some of this Northern Ontario cabin fever. We're going to board Soup with Reddenblu, the only holistic kennel in the area who are willing to board pets without vaccinations. We considered taking him with us, but he's on the verge of being 3 months old, and after that age there are more restrictions about crossing the border and having to show city licenses and vaccination records, neither of which we have or plan to get.

I applied to school this morning & filled out my OSAP papers. I need to get into the pre-health sciences program to upgrade my math/sciences in preparation for the midwifery program -- which from the looks of it may be tougher to get into than I thought. Many of the women in the email group I belong to have applied 3-4 times and still haven't been accepted. I also app'd to the general arts/science program in case pre-med is full, just so I can get in there and get some credits out of the way.

I'm so sick of WoW I could puke. My EQ2 account is cancelled for now since playing alone sucks and I don't know anyone else who plays. The Sims2 was fun for about 2 weeks. I need a new game! Any suggestions?
