Life is lovely.

Steve's napping, obviously worn out from powering through his footlong mansandwich. Soup is passed out in his crate, obviously worn out from chewing on my panties.

I had a cyst the size of a small planet removed from my armpit a couple days ago. I've been going in to have the packing changed every morning, and it has been confirmed that I am a giant pussy. What seemed like a gallon of pus and blood was drained out of the thing when I had it lanced, and it's continued to ooze over the last few days in what has been both the coolest and most disgusting thing that has ever happened to my body. I've had these little aliens pop up since hitting puberty (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidradenitis_suppurativa for the curious) but they've always been tolerable and gone away on their own. This one swelled up to the size of a small egg and decided to grab my full attention by preventing me from moving my arm or wearing a bra. Thanks, buddy.

The antibiotics I was given state a common side effect of diarrhea. Like I need any help in that department.

Getting my passport together this week for our trip in July to Bahamas/Hawaii with Steve and his family. Need to convince my dad to babysit Soup for two weeks. Hopefully he'll be past his panty fetish by then. (The dog, not my dad)

Speaking of Daddy-O, we're going out to dinner on Saturday for my 26th birthday. It should present the perfect opportunity to tell him about our engagement, and lessen shock from the "Hey, we got married while we were in Hawaii!" conversation.
